Eco-friendly paving is required in many residential areas and, depending on infiltration, may only count as 50% of the floor area ratio. It can be beneficial for narrow plots.

However, whether it’s the concrete or the spacers, someone else will have to explain.

Ok, yes, that’s how it was.
Maybe this is something for me, too.

I’m only allowed to pave a small area, floor area ratio-2?
And that will be tight...

The joints need to be much wider to allow for proper drainage. It’s the paving. You can clearly see this after rain in our area; at the neighbors', the stones stay wet much longer than here.
