Oh, thank you, that’s so kind of you! The kitchen is currently being installed, and this morning we already had some trouble with the grumpy locals from Brandenburg ^^. They say it’s too tight and the kitchen won’t fit, blah blah. Of course it fits! I keep checking down there and I’m really excited. The green was different from what I remembered, but I still really like it.

The kitchen... everything done by ourselves. We assembled the house, installed the windows, insulated the walls, installed a vapor barrier, added an installation level, built window reveals, raised the wood paneling, painted, applied resin (in areas exposed to water/grease splashes). We even tiled the floor ourselves (albeit not very well).

Installation happening right now:

It will be a Häcker kitchen in aquamarine.

Yes, many people tend to remember colors differently; they forget what they liked eight months ago... Keep posting, I’m curious to see more. If you haven’t already planned it, you should offer timber frame house construction courses (for a fee, of course). On one hand, you are not salespeople and don’t have to sugarcoat anything; on the other hand, you now know all the pitfalls and tricks to reach the best outcome. You deserve an award.

Does anyone still remember?
I would like to know what cabinets (Ikea?) were used here, especially with the varying door/drawer heights and the room height.

I would guess Metod (kitchen), as the system allows for quite flexible work, and the front panel could then be the Veddinge. It is excellent in terms of price/performance.
