Do you also have a photo taken during the day? We originally wanted red roof tiles as well, but because of a photovoltaic system, we switched back to dark gray so that there’s no strong color contrast on the roof (between the red and the dark photovoltaic panels).
In general, this seems to be a trend that has only reached single-family homes in recent years: wanting a facade that is nicely illuminated in the evening. I think we’ll skip that expense, even though it certainly looks attractive. But we mostly stay inside the house anyway.
