Is that vinyl flooring or solid wood? It’s vinyl. Classen Neo 2.0 in brown-shaded elm. Easy to install, can be cut and snapped with a utility knife and a bit of muscle. It’s quite hard for vinyl and somewhat smooth. It’s best to order samples from different manufacturers and leave them for a few days. That way, you can see how they look in different lighting and how well they hide dirt (we have cat hair).

But everything has to be smooth and understated for me, and I always find it exciting to see what other options are out there. How did you decide on these tiles for the shower backsplash? That’s definitely not mainstream. I’m always interested in the background story behind such decisions.
