Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

I guess something else was meant, but the sentence is correct as it is (unlike what she actually wanted to say).

Oh?

To share a few photos as well. Last week, the screed was poured on the upper floor in our house. It’s impressive how much the feel of the rooms changes.

Unfinished room under construction: bare walls, three windows with protective film, rough floor, visible cables.

Basement room in shell construction with red water pipes, exposed installations, and small window.

Indoor corridor at the construction site: open door frames, unfinished walls, and cables on the ceiling.

Construction site room: shell construction with white sanitary pipes on the wall, support column in the center, stairs on the left.

Here’s an update.

The roof will be finished next week. The windows might be installed this week, followed by their prompt fitting.

Construction site: scaffolding around shell of house; green roof battens, brick walls, construction tools visible

I’m really surprised at how quickly everything progressed. The foundation slab was completed at the end of September/beginning of October. The bricks were delivered a week later. Then, on November 4th, construction started. So, it’s been less than four weeks until now. I had expected there would be more downtime.

Here is a proof of climate change: palm tree still on the balcony, but already decorated with Christmas lights...
