Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

And the solar thermal system performs well even in winter. It’s running.

I don’t think LEDs make much difference there.

Here is photographic evidence of climate change: a palm tree still on the balcony, but already decorated with Christmas lights....

Oh, Christmas lights... the year has gone by way too fast...
Our house handover is in about 3 weeks (meters). Then the move will really feel closer with every task we complete inside.
For now, I’m still looking forward to it...

But that also means: not celebrating Christmas in your own house, right? Well, next year there will be another Christmas celebration, I'm sure of that.

Yes, that was our wish earlier this year, but we gave up on it months ago. Even if the handover had been a few weeks earlier now, it still wouldn’t have worked out. My husband is a teacher and can’t take time off outside of school holidays, so only weekends would be possible if our daughter is to see her dad during the week. This way, we can fully use the Christmas holidays (which extend two weeks into January) when siblings and friends have already firmly committed to helping.
