The Sodastream ad suits you 😀 Does it produce beer as well? 🙂
Sodastream is not welcome in my house...
It’s also about the shopping and so on.

Matthias 40’s house? If the kitchen doesn’t have access to a pantry and there are no garage(s) attached to the house that allow entry, then it’s really just a beautiful design ... 🙂 I wouldn’t want to carry beverage crates “across the yard.” I also don’t see any firewood storage at the house. Yes. As spacious and attractive as a front yard/yard may look, it’s so impractical...
I can understand wanting something like that, but personally, I’d consider it inefficient use of space. I couldn’t truly retreat there since it’s open to the street, and as you pointed out, the workflow would put me at a disadvantage...
My wife would be bothered that, among other things, there is no spice rack near the cooktop. Where are the toaster, the coffee machine... space for a dish towel in the kitchen? I also don’t see any electrical outlets at the countertop—are they recessed? I only see some in the bathroom 🙂
And the lot seems a bit too “low maintenance” for me. No trees, no plants…
But it is a nice house 🙂

I found the architect... he is from the Regensburg area and his name starts with F.... I won’t say more. Thanks. I got him.
He was actually mentioned here before, indirectly or displayed on my screen, when a user shared the hillside house “Black on White” with the decoupled basement.
With him, it’s clear: those who present themselves well and submit good photos get attention.
I also don’t have a spice rack by the stove (which gets dirty quickly if you cook a lot); instead, I have a drawer next to the stove. Much better!
At the front, my kitchen has no handles either – but on the other side of the kitchen island there are handles where you can hang towels. With Bora systems, the power outlets are located next to the control knobs. There are also pop-up outlets, etc. I don’t like having the toaster out in the open either – ours is stored in the pantry, which is right next to the kitchen. If we didn’t have that option, it would be kept in a drawer. I hate kitchens with countertops cluttered with stuff. Everyone handles it differently, of course.
And if I remember correctly, Matthias mentioned he still needs to do something in the garden. So this isn’t the final state (do you ever really reach that?).
