A house number displayed as a wall graphic behind a window is quite a brilliant idea.Nummer12 schrieb:
I initially planned an interior blind to provide privacy while still allowing light in.For this kind of application, I would probably choose a translucent printed film similar to those used for advertising on city buses. The design could then feature the resident family.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

It provides privacy, and I was able to prepare the house number at the same time. Would you reveal the manufacturer? The market seems quite confusing after a Google search. I’m not allowed to send private messages yet....

Better not....You could make the dog bigger in the picture. Or you could use the Beimers, the Geissens, the Flodders, the Simpsons, the Waltons, the Barbapapa family ...https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

No rain for weeks, but as soon as we start working on the garden, it pours... and now we have mud everywhere in front of the house. Our karma must not be that good.
Anyway, the first wall is almost finished. Until last Wednesday, the area around our house still looked like this:

In good weather, everything was dry and relatively clean (except for pollen).
Now things have changed a bit:

Everything wet and muddy... At least the wall to the neighbor is almost finished. There will be a small compost area and my bread oven (towards the shed) and our terrace in front of it. The bread oven will also hide the unsightly exhaust pipe of the controlled residential ventilation system from view. We will come up with something to deal with it, either letting plants climb up it or enclosing it, we’ll see. Once the ground was leveled there, we finally got a better idea of how much space we have. I think it will be enough for us
The finished height will be at the point marked by the arrow here:

The wall will be at this height all around the house, continuing up to the balcony.
Our cats, meanwhile, are annoyed – changes are baaaad and the old wall to the neighbor was wider, which was perfect for lying in the sun (even though it was about to fall over, but that doesn’t matter in the cat world). Everything is different, dirty, and just not right. We currently have three little grumpy ones at home. The fact that they refuse to clean their paws before coming in grumpily is not their problem, but mine. Otherwise, they are hiding in the scratching post, trying to avoid as much of this crazy world as possible:
