Unfortunately, the plum tree had to be removed. It had grown so much that we could no longer reach the plums. The tree hadn’t been pruned properly for the past few years. Besides, it was really right in the middle and in the way. I fought to keep it throughout the entire construction process, but now I have to admit it no longer made sense to keep it.
However, it will be replaced by a new tree, which is already standing on the balcony, waiting to find its new spot.
