Hello!

I have a question for those homeowners who chose Z-louvers for their external blinds: How is the privacy situation, since these can only be set to a maximum of 90 degrees?

I’m concerned that even if I want to let in the maximum amount of sunlight, for example in the bathroom during the day, the privacy won’t be very effective due to that 90-degree limit. With C-louvers, you can adjust them up to 180 degrees, allowing a tilted position that prevents people from seeing in from below or the side while still allowing light to enter.

What has your experience been with this?

Best regards,

You need the S_Onro... it’s the all-in-one solution.

Would someone really build something that ugly?

As an alternative to standard roller shutters, yes... but not to Venetian blinds.

Why install large window areas if you then put something LIKE THAT in front of them?
You don’t have an unobstructed view, and light doesn’t really reach the rooms. If the entire side weren’t glazed, the dining room would be a dark hole.

For the same reason that simple roller shutters or venetian blinds are installed...

Privacy and sun protection...

It's just another option—a kind of mix of both. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference... I would also prefer venetian blinds.
