Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The photos are from yesterday, and the waviness is misleading—it’s caused by the spreading process. The surface is completely level.

Hygrometer installed?
Or just open the windows every few hours?
Ours is probably arriving in the next few weeks. Do we need a dehumidifier?
The heat pump won't be installed for another 1-2 months. Until then, it has to dry without underfloor heating :-/

We ventilate the house 2-3 times a day. I believe this is the only sensible approach at the beginning. After 3 weeks, the heating is supposed to start... we’ll see.

Initially, only fresh air should be allowed on the screed. No heating or dehumidifiers. It needs to dry gently to avoid curling. After two to three weeks, more intensive drying methods can be applied. Karsten
