Mudo1991Hello everyone,
my heating engineer can’t really decide on a preferred option. That’s why I’m asking you about your experiences:
When was/is the heat pump/heating system installed at your place? Before or after the screed? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each option?
Thank you all 🙂

Yes, there is really only one answer: Before,So, you place the heat pump directly on the bare concrete floor and then pour the screed around it?You can also install the heat pump shortly after the screed is laid, but before the drying process begins. Usually, there is some time before the drying starts.

In our case, it was also installed before the screed. But on a special "plinth" to apparently prevent any sound or vibration transmission. That’s exactly how it is done in our case as well.
