Hello everyone,
my heating engineer can’t really decide on a preferred option. That’s why I’m asking you about your experiences:
When was/is the heat pump/heating system installed at your place? Before or after the screed? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each option?
Thank you all 🙂

Deliverer7 Jun 2021 09:12Is this about an indoor installation? If so, I have no idea. ;-)

So you place the heat pump directly on the bare concrete floor and then pour the screed around it?No, I follow the manufacturer's instructions, and you should also use common sense; that doesn’t hurt either. But anyway. Definitely before the screed is poured into the house.

No, I am following the manufacturer's specifications. So on a composite screed base or similar.

So, on a composite screed base or similar. For all I care, even with the help of Siemens air hooks. The OP’s question is not about the exact method or tools but simply: When?nordanney schrieb:
Then give the OP some information on how to do it and don’t wait to be prompted for details.I have already done that twice in this thread. Before the screed. Our screed installer informed us that the screed should be heated/dried with the heat pump only after at least 3 weeks. Since we do not yet have a heat pump and it will probably take another 4-5 weeks to arrive, I asked for more details. They said this is not a problem, but definitely not before three weeks after installation.
For the first three days, we should keep the windows tilted open (no cross ventilation), then ventilate by fully opening the windows once or twice a day for 15-20 minutes.
By the way, it is cement screed without additives. I assume that the timing and method of heating depend on the type of screed and the additives used?

I guess it all depends on the type of screed and the additives used when and how heating should or can be applied? Exactly.
For me: after 24 hours, 20°C (68°F) for 48 hours. Then 25°C (77°F) for 48 hours. Then 40°C (104°F) for four or five days, or until the measurement indicates it's "dry enough." So after about 10 days it was dry, thanks to the accelerator.
