Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

That is B-grade goods.

B-grade materials are never a good choice for large surfaces and raking light.

That was meant as a joke.

Nice, but honestly, I’m tired of seeing it. Everyone is installing it now..

Not everyone uses hand-scraped flooring, so you can look again. I’m sure it will be a beautiful floor.

If the height limit is already fully used up in the planning stage, it could become difficult. But I wonder what the architect planned there; they should have known during planning which materials would be used and the dimensions of the components, right?

Our architect is planning several strange things... The controlled mechanical ventilation system suddenly doesn’t fit, the house is at street level even though the terrain rises by 1 meter (3 feet), the selected staircase doesn’t fit, and so on.

However, two full floors are allowed, so in principle it should work. The site manager said he hasn’t spoken with the local authorities, and that we shouldn’t either!

Then he should give you a written statement if someone else plans to charge you for urinating outside.
