Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

I had imagined a slope more like ours
We already found it quite impressive. You're literally standing in front of an earth wall.

Markus, looks like things will be starting soon for you too [emoji106]

As far as I know, this is acceptable as long as the concrete slab completely seals off the structure, making it airtight.

The company has a pretty good reputation, so I’m assuming everything is fine.

What I found more interesting was the method used for the formwork of the individual foundation for the column using the rings. It looks like they simply pour concrete into the rings, which saves them the effort of building complex formwork.

On Monday, the structural shell work finally started for us. The slab foundation had already been completed on February 16th. By Thursday, the ceiling was already being poured. The electrician was also busy running the cables for the smart home wiring inside the ceiling. There are quite a few cables coming into the utility room already...

They also started building the basement walls last Saturday. By Tuesday, everything was already finished. However, since the site is quite relaxed here, the ceiling will only be installed on Monday and poured on Tuesday. I get the impression that if I don’t keep asking when the next steps are coming, nothing would ever move forward...
