I’m always glad we removed something like that from our wish list right from the start Why is that? A stove is great—we love lighting it up, and the atmosphere it creates during the cold seasons is unbeatable. The radiant heat is also fantastic.
For a low-energy house, you just need to build the stove accordingly.
Economically, it’s no more sensible than a ventilation system. Both are pure luxury.
