I think it looks really stylish as an accent! It’s a paint from Wanders24. The 3-liter (0.8-gallon) container costing 63€ covers 4–6 square meters (43–65 square feet). So it’s really intended just for accents; otherwise, it gets expensive. It’s a paste applied with a trowel like plaster.
My older son wanted it for his children’s room wall, but the price was quite high, so he had to choose something else. They have other glitter paints on clearance for 24€ per 3-liter (0.8-gallon) container, but the only one I still like is spring green.
Otherwise, you can get the effect much cheaper with brands like "Alpina feine Farben" or "Schöner Wohnen" combined with glitter from a hardware store. However, that is not washable when wet.

The craftsmen are working hard, and so are we:
- The painters are painting the first floor and ground floor. They are actually painting the chimney in glitter gray. The nice thing is that the paint/paste is washable when wet.
- We painted the basement over the weekend. Only the utility/storage room is left.
- The tiler started yesterday and is preparing everything. He will begin with the walls.
- Next week, the floors on the ground and first floors will be tiled. The basement will come later since the screed is not dry yet.
- The roof hatch was installed yesterday.
- The external blinds arrived today and will be installed in the coming days.
- The front door will arrive in two weeks.
- The staircase is becoming more expensive because natural beech laminated veneer lumber, lacquered, does not match the wood-look tile. It will now have to be oak. The quality will determine the additional cost.

EDIT: The wood-look tiles will be laid mixing 120x20 cm (47x8 inches) and 120x30 cm (47x12 inches) sizes. These tiles will be installed throughout the ground floor.

Could you send me a picture of the fully painted chimney when it’s finished?

The ground floor of House 2 is fully built, and the formwork for the ceiling is in place. The lower slab of House 1 has been stripped of its formwork, and the upper slab is insulated and shuttered (now also reinforced), including the steps down, and is probably being poured right about now. Tomorrow, the first floor slab for House 2 will be installed, and next week the walls for the ground floor of House 1 will start going up.
The L-block walls for the foundation and the land filling have already been completed; this took place between the gravel base layer and the first slab. Now, basically, "only" construction remains. Things are going quite well so far, although I’ve had to make 2-3 minor corrections (window sill too high, incorrect door opening...). But all of that was handled pretty smoothly.
