Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Are you asking me? And what exactly do you mean by "inside up there"?

Well, if my tired eyes don’t deceive me, there seems to be something resembling benjamini in the window above, right?

Things are steadily progressing here as well.

Since yesterday, not only do we have all the connections, but also the exterior door to the basement:

Construction site view: door and two windows in the basement, pink insulation boards, earthworks.

It makes the workshop immediately much brighter:

Shell structure made of wood with dining table, chairs, construction tools, window and door leading outside.

And otherwise, everything is gradually taking shape – for example, quite a bit in the bathroom is already covered with Fermacell panels and is now waiting to be tiled:

Renovation room with skylight, shell walls, sanitary area and tiled floor.

(once again, the sunlit toilet *g*)

Interior of a construction site: white cabinets, blue pipe connections and timber frame construction.

No, not a Benjamin, but some cacti and small palms, and – perhaps the most important plant when building a house – a jade plant.

Actually, it’s not surprising that we already have plants in the house, since we moved in back in September.

Best regards

Axel

Ah, I see! I had completely forgotten about that...

@Climbee Who is handling the outdoor landscaping, you or a landscape gardener?

Our general contractor (GC) can also take care of this if we want – so they are responsible. They work with a dedicated landscape gardener / landscaper they regularly cooperate with.
