Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Yes, but less damage can be done that way.

Which model is that?
What exactly can be damaged with flowing screed?
Apart from the flowing screed itself, you really can’t damage anything. Just make sure they don’t get the idea to place the fireplace directly on the screed. There are only two proper ways to do it:

1. Place the fireplace on the unfinished subfloor and then install the screed
2. Pour the screed but leave a space for the fireplace using Styrofoam or a frame beforehand
3. Pour the screed first and then break out the section for the fireplace later (wrong)
4. Place the fireplace directly on the screed (completely wrong)

It’s the Kingfire Grande S

Without the chimney extension, so just what you see here, €7250 net. It's more expensive than a traditional Swedish stove, but for us, saving space was the priority. It can be operated with a mechanical ventilation system without a pressure monitor.

I believe using it without a pressure monitor has not been allowed since last year.

It was also the only three-sided fireplace approved without a pressure switch until now.

Our fireplace was built with only two or three base rows before the screed, with the rest constructed afterward. This way, nothing gets damaged.

That is exactly how it was done for us as well.

It depends on the district chimney sweep; our fireplace has also been tested to be sealed tightly enough to operate without a sensor. However, the district chimney sweep generally does not approve fireplaces without a pressure sensor. So, you just have bad luck.
