Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

From March 15 to September 1, exactly five and a half. However, they had already completed the foundation slab before Christmas in December and left it to cure until March. Construction method: Ytong blocks with plaster, traditional style. The house was sufficiently dry at the time of moving in,

We have been living here since the end of February. The project started on May 1, 2018 – that makes 10 months.

A traditional Ytong/autoclaved aerated concrete and sand-lime brick construction with brick cladding, without a basement. If the utility company hadn’t delayed and we had progressed a bit faster with the owner-performed work toward the end, it could have taken 8–9 months. But that wasn’t necessary, so all in all, it’s fine.

A small update.

The painter has finished...

Bright, empty newly built room with high ceilings, large glass windows; construction equipment outside.

Empty interior of a construction project with a green heating unit, cables, jacket, and bottle.

All white, where are the colors?

We also started with a lot of white, but quickly realized that living with colors is much nicer.

Yes, it will look even better.

My wife is a white fanatic.

We also have RAL 9016 doors and kitchen.
And a staircase completely painted white, including the steps.
Additionally, all the furniture is white.

The only color comes from the oak flooring and the window sills
and the tiles.
