Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

Ah, okay. I really like the look. If I were to build with brick, it would probably be something similar.

I don’t find it too colorful either, but taste is known to vary widely.

Yes, and in my personal opinion, many brick enthusiasts tend to overdo it.

Regarding the brick discussion, here is a recent photo of our company’s new building:

Inside:
These info displays will be installed here. They will show photovoltaic yield, current electricity consumption, and so on.

Open wall niche in a brick wall; beige interior surface, loose cable bundles (blue/white) hanging down.

Outside:

Modern building facade with a row of large windows in light-colored panels, between brick bands.

Once the scaffolding is fully removed in the next few days, I’ll take photos of the large brick area.

Today the roofers have made good progress.

Partially covered roof: wooden batten substructure, dark roof tiles, chimney, gray sky.

This is what you might call a winter construction site. At least the concrete ring beam has been completed.

Construction site in the snow: scaffolding around a two-story building, crane on the right, barrier tape, car in the foreground.
