Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

When it rains, everything runs into our basement.

That is really an unfortunate solution. We did it like this: we also installed a light well in front of the air vent, which is naturally connected downward to the drainage system.

Best regards

We did the same, but mold forms on the exterior wall. In winter, the warm, moist exhaust air condenses. We are currently looking for a solution.

Today the sun came out again, so I covered our "pond." The hair grass still looks a bit sparse; I hope it will become bushier. Maybe add two more plants on each side?

Decorative gravel to cover the planting holes is still missing. Also, a small fountain for the water basin.

Originally, I wanted to build the bench the full depth of the low wall, but somehow it looks too bulky. For now, the beams are just laid on top. This will be postponed.

Yes, it was done the same way here as Axel’s.

Do you have a picture of it?

At the moment, only from the outside, before backfilling. You can see three light wells. The two on the left and right are slightly larger and belong to two windows. The one in the middle is for the exhaust air.

Best regards

Don’t do that, it will grow on its own. People often make the mistake of planting too many plants at the beginning, which then can’t grow properly because they compete with each other. Everything is newly planted, so just give it some time...

I’d rather say nothing about the purple water outlet...
