Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Work continued on the bathrooms. The towel holders will be installed tomorrow.

Today, our tiler made a mistake and accidentally cut into the underfloor heating system. I have no idea how that happened. Now a plumber has to come and repair it. I hope the job will be done properly. In any case, our site supervisor is watching closely...

Today, the garden was landscaped and the terrace was covered with gravel.

And then? – it looks like the whole area, including the paving, could be made level with no steps as desired.

One might wonder why a tiler would need an angle grinder. Our tiler even managed to break the trickiest corners without any clue if he even had an angle grinder.

We have the same issue, but mold is forming on the exterior wall. In winter, the warm, humid exhaust air condenses. We are currently looking for a solution.

Today the sun came out again, so I covered our “pond.” The maiden grass still looks a bit sparse; I hope it will fill out more. Maybe add two more plants on each side?

We also still need decorative gravel to cover the planting holes. And a small fountain for the water basin.

I originally planned to build the bench across the entire depth of the low walls, but somehow it looks too bulky. For now, the beams are just laid on top. That project is on hold.

Wow, that looks really great—I would hire you immediately to design our garden *thumbs up*

Well, I’d say it wasn’t well planned. Of course, appearance is a matter of personal taste, but the refrigerator wasn’t integrated at all. And I think the concrete look will be so out of style in a few years that the kitchen will need to be renovated again.

Nobody should just follow trends, but rather install what they like. Just like townhouses and many other things.
I find the kitchen very stylish.
