Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Actually, the hose holder is not the problem; the two faucets should have been installed next to each other.

Well, obviously, you should minimize drilling through insulation, right?

But the insulation is pierced in many places: windows, ventilation inlets and outlets, outdoor power outlets, light switches, doorbells, camera cables, faucets, and much more. I still don’t understand.

The issue is that securing something through the spray foam insulation is a major challenge. That’s why the hose holder is attached to a wall without insulation.

There are telescopic brackets for this, so no need to worry. Please don’t overdramatize just because you’re not familiar with external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), which I can understand.

Yes, exactly, I should have known that a hose holder would be installed on the facade during the insulation work. In that case, a telescopic bracket would have been installed there first, and later the hose holder.
@haydee figured it out correctly, but it would have been ideal if the two valves were next to each other. Since the one on the facade was planned beforehand and the other was added later, unfortunately, it was too late.

Well, you should drill as little as possible through insulation, that’s clear, right? That’s why the conduit is attached to the wall, not the house.

Just as little as you would in a solid stone wall. You can even chase that from the inside. What a sacrilege.

Attaching the conduit holder in front of the external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) should not be a problem. Appropriate screws and that’s it.
