I have to admit that our development plan requires red [emoji41]. But we would have chosen red anyway, even if we weren’t required to. I think this color looks so beautifully classic and will definitely look very, very nice with a white house and a fully planted perennial front garden [emoji7][emoji7]. Although I had expected the red to be a bit darker, this shade is also fine.

Feeling down? *lol then I have something for you. Today, we worked on the roof soffit. Ours is anthracite, of course – the windows will be the same color.

Our neighbors want their cladding in white… well, everyone has their own preference
but it only meets at one spot at the back of the house – and I rarely look there.

I have to admit that in our case, the zoning plan requires red [emoji41]. But we would have chosen red even if we weren’t obligated to. For us, it’s the other way around: the zoning plan also requires red, but we would prefer anthracite. A white facade with a red roof is fine. However, a white facade with RAL7016 windows and a red roof just doesn’t work for me—it somehow always reminds me of blonde-dyed hair with dark/black eyebrows... [emoji23] Since we will have an internal roof, meaning the color won't be visible from the side, it’s not such a big deal...
