Some combinations simply manage to convey far more tastelessness than pluralism. In many residential areas, there are houses whose difference from the mainstream might be interesting—if their uniqueness wasn’t inconsistent by itself. Compared to some of these examples, a mythical creature is almost homogeneous: cream-yellow bricks, dark green mullioned windows, a half-octagonal bay window with a baroque balustrade, and burgundy paving; or the woven fence next to the steel garage... (this list is by no means exhaustive).
