Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Now something from the DIY section... Filling and painting the stairwell...
Aluminum scaffold next to wooden stairs indoors; construction work, orange safety straps

Interior of a construction project: aluminum ladder positioned diagonally in the stairwell, shadows on the wall

Unfortunately, I have to agree.
You did an excellent job with the tiles.
The wallpaper, hmm.
But still [emoji106], great job on the DIY work.

@AxelH. How do you handle shading? I didn’t notice any roller shutter boxes in your pictures.

The roller shutter boxes are installed together with the windows, meaning the window openings are about 25 cm (10 inches) shorter at the top. The same applies to the venetian blinds, which are installed in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Best regards

It seems that tiling is more your strength than wallpapering

I would appreciate some clarification.

In the pictures, you can clearly see each strip of the colored wallpaper because the top edge is uneven. From the images, it looks like there is about a 1cm (0.4 inch) offset from strip to strip.
Or will you be straightening this out? At the moment, it appears as if the strips are different lengths or slightly misaligned.
