Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

It’s good that the cables have different colors; otherwise, it would look a bit dull. Did you choose the colors?

@tumaa what is full KNX? Do you mean KNX at its maximum configuration? I don’t think there are that many cables. There’s also LAN involved... So every socket in the house is switchable, etc.?

No, I just meant not a prefabricated system like Busch and others... not all sockets are individually switchable.

The colors of the cable jackets also serve as identification colors to some extent, so the electrician doesn’t always have to grab reading glasses to distinguish between rolls of, for example, Cat.5, Cat.6, and Cat.7 cables during installation.

In this case, probably: White = Power Green = Bus Orange = CAT 7

We just completed this during the renovation. Now we still need to install the network (and a "weather protection" cover above the meter box because of the drain pipe).
Control cabinet with many cables, terminal blocks, and distribution panels in the basement.

Update:

The granite for the concrete staircase is on its way

Several black metal stair treads are lying on a frame in a paint shop.
