Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Our facade is finished, beige textured plaster with glitter... Hopefully, the scaffolding will be taken down tomorrow.

Finally, a view from the terrace without scaffolding:

We’ve just gone through this during a renovation. Now we still need network cabling (and a “weather protection” cover over the meter box because of the drainage pipe)

As a technician, I notice a few things here that are no longer quite up to current standards.
Since May of this year, for example, only a maximum of 6 circuit breakers (CBs) are allowed per RCD (residual current device).
Actually, RCDs are generally installed in line with the circuit breakers, as has been done for many decades. (though this is still permitted today)

Are you concluding this from the reduction of trip currents to 0.3 times the rated residual current in the revised VDE 100-410? If you consider the consumer device connected to a socket outlet instead of the circuit breaker itself as the equipment, then limiting to a maximum of 6 CBs is basically pointless.
