I would suggest consulting the plumber to check whether any of their pipes could develop a rust issue if they have been submerged in water for an extended period. Is the red-insulated pipe a heating pipe connected to the underfloor heating manifold? For heating systems, galvanized carbon steel was often used, which might cause problems.

Well, that’s nice if he says so. When it finally comes time in 6 years, no one will want to know what was said before. I would want to be told what type of pipe material it is. Then we can take it from there.
