Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

Then come over to the garden section. There are several things there that you should like.
Old stones with beautiful walls. I have quite a few of those. Sandstone, however.
The house and the outdoor area need to match.

And here are a few interior views
Hallway with cement tiles (pattern and color chosen by us)

Interior under renovation: white staircase, glass doors, patterned tiles, red wall.
Curved staircase with wrapped wooden steps and decorative floor tiles.
Bedroom with a view

Bright attic room with wooden floor, sloped ceiling, and two windows overlooking greenery.
Window opened from inside, view of green fields, cloudy sky, and field ground; handle visible.

Unfortunately, the living room did not allow for more space for the fireplace, so the stove insert was integrated into the chimney shaft:

Black stove with glass front in front of a concrete pillar, on a decorative tiled floor.

Kitchen: still not completely installed

Bright kitchen: white island with wooden countertop, glass doors, and sink by the window.

Guest WC: Still missing things in every corner…

Bright guest bathroom with wall-hung toilet, toilet brush, and decorative tiled floor.

And the fact that in the Netherlands you always get something to smoke, even in cake form, certainly sparks the imagination further.
