Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Here is an update on our construction progress. We started at the end of February.

So, we have moved in.

Kitchen with oven, light-colored fronts; stacked boxes and shopping bags on the left.

A messy living room with TV on white cabinet, boxes, laundry basket, backpack, and shoes.

Renovation room with construction waste: boxes, plastic, insulation, glass doors to the outside area.

Basement hallway: stairs on the left, a niche on the right with boxes, bags, and containers; ceiling light.

Interior of a construction site: wooden stairs, protective film, vacuum hose, door with blue window stripe.

Rough plaster wall next to a wooden staircase; modern wall lamp emits bright light.

Steps of a staircase under renovation, edge taped off, bright light panel above.

Overhead view of a curved wooden staircase with railing; steps partly covered with protective film.

Here is a look into the utility room, or the adjoining space often called the "laundry room," furnished with the same kitchen cabinets.

A small utility room with a sink, washing machine, box, yellow garbage bag, and window.

Small technical room with boiler, expansion tank, pipes, ladder, refrigerator, and toilet paper.

Great! But that’s not IKEA, right? We are considering installing a 40cm (16 inches) deep IKEA wall cabinet in the utility room for extra storage.
