Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Well, the chandelier isn’t really mine, but that doesn’t matter.
At least you can also prevent Android from saving coordinates and other data when taking pictures.

Yes, these are two unique properties.
They wouldn’t be my choice either, but they are interesting to look at.
Especially since they appear to be built by professionals in this field, and the owners demonstrate good taste without going overboard.

Hoping that the cut edges are glued so they don’t absorb water?!
This area is still under the verge flashing. All the external boards have a drip edge created by a miter cut. The larch wood material is not particularly susceptible to water damage. Since it is untreated, it will simply weather to a silver-gray color over time—just like the residents.

The foundation slab is taking shape. With a bit of luck, masonry work will begin by the end of the week.

Construction pit with mini excavator, wooden foundations, pile of gravel, and house in the background.

Ha! You’re really building this monster now. It will definitely be interesting to watch. However, I can’t give a like for that.
