There will be a trim piece in front of the kitchen from the living room side.
This way, the kitchen practically sits on the hardwood floor and, with the push-to-open handles, resembles more of a built-in wall unit.
That’s exactly how it was meant to be.
Baseboards will be installed by Christmas.
