My boyfriend and I are moving in together soon, and we still need a new kitchen. Can anyone tell me if IKEA kitchens are any good or recommend a specific model? We like this red lacquer finish, but I guess it’s probably not very easy to maintain, right? It should also not be too expensive since we are both students!

We are currently assembling our second IKEA kitchen. The first one was installed in our holiday home in Hungary. Although we only used it intensively for about 3 months per year, we didn’t notice any defects.
Since we bought a house in Switzerland 3 months ago, we decided without hesitation to choose the IKEA kitchen again, this time in red with a gloss finish. The assembly is almost complete, and I will share finished photos with you.
What I like about the IKEA kitchen is that if I no longer like the color, I can “simply” replace the door.
