Hello everyone,

Thanks to a Google search, I found this forum and have already read some very interesting posts.

We are currently putting together our first IKEA kitchen. Style: white with Bodbyn fronts.

Using the IKEA 3D planner and their “kitchen experts,” we have made good progress with the design, and now we are working on the “fine tuning.” Except for the refrigerator (HÄFTIGT), we would like to choose high-quality built-in appliances for our new kitchen from brands like Bosch, AEG, Neff, etc.

At the moment, I am looking for a new dishwasher... I have found many discussions on this forum, but none matched my “requirements,” or maybe I missed a suitable thread.

I hope you can help me... for our open kitchen, I am looking for a “very quiet” dishwasher with a flexible hinge (Vario hinge).

Unfortunately, most models start at around 43 dB... I’m not sure if this might be too loud... maybe you could share your experiences.

Currently, we have the semi-integrated Bosch SMI68M85EU SuperSilence with a rated noise level of 42 dB... which should theoretically be completely adequate since it really does run very quietly.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards

EDIT: I have changed the thread title, as it is no longer just about the dishwasher.

While browsing manufacturers, I noticed a few other models that are quiet and include variable options, which caught my attention:

SBE65N00EU "SuperSilence"
ActiveWater XXL dishwasher 60 cm (24 inches)
Fully integrated with variable hinge

SBE88TD01E "SuperSilencePlus"
ActiveWater XXL dishwasher 60 cm (24 inches)
Fully integrated with variable hinge and OpenAssist

SX778D01TE iQ700 speedMatic large capacity dishwasher 60 cm (24 inches)
Fully integrated with variable hinge and OpenAssist

Does anyone have experience with the above dishwashers?

The often-mentioned model here, "SX76P030EU iQ500 speedMatic large capacity dishwasher 60 cm (24 inches) fully integrated with variable hinge," is a real bargain at just under 450,-- compared to the others. However, it is also a bit louder at 44 dB.

I'm confused ... too much information

Hello
I am currently planning to integrate a dishwasher into an Ikea kitchen.
I noticed the Neff S72P69X0EU.
It has a Vario hinge, operates at only 42 dB, and is still relatively affordable.
Does it automatically fit because of the hinge? Since it is related to Siemens/Bosch, it should also fit, right?

Thanks!

We have the Siemens SX778D01TE in our open-plan kitchen and it is really very quiet. You can only occasionally hear the water dripping in the hose, which can be startling the first time because it sounds like water dripping onto the floor.

Hey, thanks for your reply. And did the dishwasher fit into the Ikea Metod cabinet without any problems or modifications?

The SX778D01TE is comparable to the Neff S727P80X1E.
41 dB is also achieved by the Miele G 6865 SCVi XXL, G 6577 SCVi XXL, and G 6895 SCVi XXL K2O.

With Bosch, Siemens, and Neff, you always need to compare which brand currently offers the better price. The corresponding devices come from the same factory and are alternately produced with different brand names.
