Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

That looks like a newly built house. Didn’t you just ask about adding an additional storey?

I asked my questions about adding an additional storey to our residential building about three years ago. The younger generation is now building on their own. See the house shown in the picture.

Adding an additional storey is still a topic. We do have more descendants, after all. – haha

Dear friends of housebuilding,

Following posts #1121, #1241, #1290, #1292, and #1382, today, as promised, the work continues. The foundation pit is starting to fill up. The L-shaped concrete blocks for the basement stairs wall have been installed. Massive pieces, 1 meter (3.3 feet) wide, 2.55 meters (8.4 feet) high, and each weighing 1740 kg (3836 lbs). Everything fits perfectly. I am very satisfied.

Best regards

Axel

Dear friends of house building,

Today, a large amount of steel arrived. For 85.7 m² (922 ft²), the structural engineer calculated 1820 kg (4009 lbs).
Part 2 will follow tomorrow.

Best regards

I think I’m addicted to building. When I see a foundation slab like that, it’s almost like sex.
