Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

My partner is also there, so at least I’ll get the pictures.

Now I’ll try to get out soon today (and then hopefully not get stuck in traffic for too long – Munich, the city with daily traffic jams *ugh*).

Don’t you live near Augsburg? That used to be a lengthy process. I can vaguely remember it.

As my structural builder says these days: Welcome to the land of L-blocks.

Tomorrow the basement will be excavated and the area will be backfilled and compacted 70 cm (28 inches) above the L-blocks. After that, about 1.5 m (5 feet) still remains until street level. That will be added later.
