Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Look, there is always an escalation. In our case, the shell builder repeatedly finds reasons not to be able to start, but ties the start of construction to us not deducting the delay accumulated so far... [emoji57]

AxelH., did they build above the basement without backfilling?

Hello Loads, yes, that’s how it was done. However, for structural reasons, reinforcing concrete columns were cast in on three sides of the basement level. There is a plan behind the whole process. On two sides of the house, there will still be extensions without basements. That’s why we had to proceed this way.

Best regards

We are finally starting on the outdoor areas... and the terrace is already taking shape.

Hopefully, the first barbecue will work out by the weekend.

Today, the perimeter insulation was installed (not yet complete). Backfilling will be done tomorrow.

@Ghostwriter Perfectly suited to the great weather this weekend... may I ask how much the balustrades with the glass infill cost? For one unit, that is. We are still undecided about what to install.

@R.Hotzenplotz: Is the flat steel you see laid around the house your grounding system? Is it made of V4A stainless steel?
