Progress is being made... Parts are gathered, MDF rings have been milled, tomorrow I will screw the rings together and then the artificial stone, which will later be the visible edge, will be glued radially.

I guess there will eventually be a ceiling (LED) light 🙂 ... but made of artificial stone) ... hmm ...

We also have an upgrade ... a new basement door to the garages 😀

Open white door in the hallway; behind it is a dark room; newspaper covers the floor.

This is the mounting frame for the flush-mounted LED light. The drywall will be screwed onto the MDF, so later you will only see the vertical 3cm (1¼ inch) artificial stone with a diameter of 1.2m (4 feet) and 1m (3¼ feet). The 1.2m (4 feet) version will be installed over the living area and the island, and the 1m (3¼ feet) version over the dining table.
