Great to see the progress – beautiful house! From the photos, it looks like the exterior walls have been plastered only up to the metal profiles of the suspended ceiling. Is that really the case? I’m asking with regard to the airtightness of the exterior walls.
Is there a reason why a combination of timber and metal framing was used for the drywall construction in the attic?

Is there a reason why a mix of wood and metal framing was used for the drywall construction in the attic? To be honest, I can’t answer that from a “technical” point of view. What I can say is that the unplastered interior sections of the exterior walls are about 15cm (6 inches) wide. The ceiling between the ground and first floors is a cast-in-place concrete slab resting on the exterior walls.
Our architect has always done it this way. I trust her judgment.
As for the upper floor/attic, the wooden structure is part of the roof frame. The roof is insulated between and above the rafters. The metal framing is only for the suspended ceiling.

The color is definitely polarizing, but I encourage everyone to be bold with color and move away from the usual “white/anthracite.” It’s worth it. We’re so happy we chose colors that we initially thought were quite “modest.”
We love it.Great – we want to go in a similar direction. Facade in earth/clay tones, with accents in orange and green.
Anyone can do white.

Anyone can do white That really takes “courage to use color.”
Excellent!
That is pretty much exactly the color I have set as the background on my screen. I like it – and I know people who find it "yuck" (I wouldn’t be discouraged by that).
What surprises me a bit since I started hanging out here in the house building forum is that currently everything is always built so smooth and angular.
... Not that I generally reject that – it has its strengths and can create a pleasant calm if the proportions are well chosen – but basically, I find “lively” much more appealing.
My designs (most of which never get built because: I simply can’t build that much) are always curved, with rounded edges, dynamic surfaces, and colors (I also appreciate colors much more when they shift subtly (is that the right word?))...
