You’re going to have some fun cleaning the windows Not necessarily. There are also divided windows where the separation is between the panes of glass. So, both inside and outside, it’s just a single glass surface. That makes no difference compared to a "regular" window.

Looks great! I really like the windows.
What’s the link to your blog? Thank you! Since today, the patio doors also have a T-bar glazing bar.
I’m not allowed to share links, but if you search for "Chris and Kati build a house," maybe combined with Tönjes & Meichsner, you should be able to find it on Google.
Alternatively, the link is in my profile. Or you can just use our names "chris" and "kati," add “und” (and) between them, and the usual German domain ending at the end.

I really like the clinker brick! Beautiful house!
However, the scaffolding is a disaster. It’s a shame to keep seeing that on construction sites. Thank you, we spent SO LONG deciding which clinker brick to choose. We’re very happy with the result. I think clinker bricks look different on each house depending on the style, roof color, mortar color, and so on, so it’s really hard to get an impression beforehand.

Yes, the color of the mortar (light or dark) makes a big difference. I know that from a natural stone house that was recently re-pointed.
Afterwards, it looked like a “new” house. I visited it again today, and now it looks much brighter. I really like it!
Here’s another picture:

You’re still going to have fun cleaning the windows Why, do you mean because of the mortar residue? They brushed all that off right away yesterday, and today I didn’t see anything that looked too bad.
Or do you mean the T-bars? They’re hidden inside the multiple glazing of the windows. The outer surfaces of the windows are smooth.
Only at the front door does it get annoying. In the photo, you can actually see the difference if you look closely.

Why, do you mean because of the joint compound? That’s what I meant, but if it already came off easily again, then it’s no longer an issue.
