Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Looks very good.
The wall where the entire heating system is installed also bothers me, and I would like to cover it up or hide the installation.
I just don’t know how to do it. A drywall partition with access panels? Carpenter?
I would appreciate any information.

Our carpenter built a frame on the left side using wooden battens and used white particleboard panels for the cover/door/cladding.

Today a company is coming to inspect the gas line. Let's see how many issues they will find. I only have to remove two screws, and everything above the panel can be taken off in a few seconds. The base in front of the utility connections is just slipped in and not visible, so it can be quickly pulled out. Our carpenter put a lot of thought into it.

I have also considered using a wooden frame to which hinges for doors can simply be attached. I just want to cover the stuff and don’t need any storage space.

9 weeks delivery time for the bay window seat and then something like this
Well, it really was a thesis project after all

Window seat in the corner with gray cushions; view outside to the garden and building site.

Did you miscalculate, or did the supplier mess up?

Well, it was really a thesis project anyway

The view outside isn’t all that nice yet anyway
