Another trend that Gene Roddenberry predicted – though for him it was called the Holodeck. Very nice. If that becomes available for private use, I’d have one installed too. 😎;)I’d take a Holodeck as well. But you have to be careful, on the Enterprise those things were constantly breaking down, and the AI often seemed a bit homicidal.S

Awesome! I’m really looking forward to placing an old CRT in my basement room for my SNES. I don’t have space for that right now, and the SNES is already pretty dusty.
The kids’ rooms will be empty soon anyway, so I plan to set up a nice, clean VR room there at first. That’s exactly why I’m finishing the attic XD
One corner for the PC, a couch area for my 100Hz Metz CRT / plus the small 50Hz Trinitron and the old consoles, and a 3 x 3 m (10 x 10 ft) space left free for VR gaming. From the wooden support beam to the door it’s 3.5 m (11.5 ft). And there should be a bit more than 3 m (10 ft) in width as well. 😀 A dedicated room for my hobby… This is a dream come true.
For now, it’s still a storage room until we’ve fully moved in.

Our neighbor kindly took a nice drone picture of our house 🙂:Some call it a "house," for others, it’s simply an "estate." ;-)Sparfuchs_:p schrieb:

I’ve never actually bumped into anything while playing VR, and I usually play in a 2m x 2m (6.5 ft x 6.5 ft) area. But the idea of the sign is cool B-)
Just to be safe, I’m putting padding around it. I already have some here XD
