There is no way to run the ventilation ducts in a straight line from the basement to the upper floor ceiling. Try contacting the ventilation manufacturer(s) and ask for a system design. They know their systems best. That's what we did and then included the design we chose in the tender documents, so the HVAC contractor could offer and install it. The final acceptance is then done by the manufacturer directly, for example Zehnder.
