Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

10cm (4 inches) distance from the window to the vertical installation zone.
It can, perhaps should, but does not have to.

The standard specifies 20cm (8 inches), not 10cm (4 inches). If an electrician carries it out differently, that is considered a defect.

This is how our construction site looked last week. By now, some of the basement walls should be standing, and in the front, in the area without a basement, a structural foundation wall.

By the way: What is the maximum file size allowed for images here? I had to compress the file twice to get it under 1 MB.

Dear friends of housebuilding,

We had a week of snow on the roofing membrane and battens, so nothing could be done during that time. However, the roofer arrived on Monday, one week delayed due to the weather, and the roof was completed by Tuesday. Today the scaffolding was taken down.

Now we are waiting for dry weather and frost-free nights so that the basement can be waterproofed and insulated. Then we will continue.

Best regards

Axel

I was already wondering what was going on.
Nice roof – looks like mine – same color, same shape.
