Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Here are some recent photos from last Sunday of our little house, which we have been living in since early August.
In northern Germany, you mostly find brick-faced houses with pitched roofs.

We will add the carport, terrace, and garden next year, as there was unfortunately no more time this year.

Hello Teyla,

the stone looks very nice; what type of facing brick is that? Manufacturer?

Best regards, Barossi

Hello Barossi,

this is the Cienna from Wienerberger with beige-white jointing.
We still like it very much, as it is something different from the typical red.

We are still in the shell construction phase and have started with plumbing and electrical work. A double garage will be built to the right of the house (hopefully before Christmas):

Two-story house under construction with red wooden cladding on top and white facade, terrace on the right.

Modern two-story house under construction with balcony, external staircase, and red upper section

Modern two-story house under construction: white facade, red wooden cladding, dark tiled roof.

The balcony is brilliantly done. I really like it a lot.

Thanks. And here is the corresponding view:
