It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

Last Monday we got started, so here is a progress update.

Monday morning:

Consistently chose the most expensive option. The same happened to us. We are also going with that, specifically flame-treated, brushed, and impregnated. Two staircases, window sills inside and outside.
