Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Don’t laugh. My husband would also like a glass wall to the garage and thinks concepts with the car in/next to the living area are really great.
If someone has a hobby and can fit it into the space, I think that’s wonderful.
But no, I don’t want a glass wall facing the car as part of the living concept.

The house makes me curious. I don’t have to like it, some houses don’t appeal to me. Still, these houses often have a coherent design and suit the homeowner.

Yes, he probably got that idea from some 1980s US TV series or something 😉
But who would want to enter their property through an industrial-style garage door?

No, there are some really great new apartment buildings with elevators. Then the car is parked in the trendy penthouse apartment.
Nothing like the 1980s style with rolling shutters.

No... what I meant is: the idea comes from that.
And the roller shutter belongs to @Tommi27 with the industrial building in the photo.

People who live tax-optimized above their own commercial business. The square meter price there is also significantly cheaper.

That has actually been around since at least 1978, when in the TV series Vegas the 1957 Thunderbird was parked in the living room (industrial hall).

So what? It doesn’t have to appeal to everyone.
