Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Everything is flooding here.
We currently have a small moat around the house. You immediately understand why only waterproof concrete basements ("white tanks") are built in this region. If this continues, we will probably have to bring in a pump.

It will take a few more meters before we get wet feet. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything stays dry.

The rivers in this area have also reached a considerable size. Some houses located in low-lying areas are already experiencing flooding. Here, all the water naturally flows downhill, and the house is well sealed anyway.

This happens when snowmelt and heavy rain occur simultaneously.

I hope those affected are well prepared.

@Alessandro Since I am not allowed to send private messages yet, I’ll briefly take over the thread here. We really like your house, and since we are currently planning something similar, I wanted to ask if it would be possible to take a look at your floor plan. If you prefer, it doesn’t have to be shared publicly. Would you be willing to send me a message? Thanks a lot!

Uhh, yeah, and? I find just one planning image in the home pictures thread a bit sparse...
